Your First Visit
What to expect if you come, and what is asked of you.
You are welcome
All races, colours and creeds are invited to serve the Most High God of Israel with us. You do not need to be a member, to have read anything first, or to announce yourself. Our gates remain open to all who earnestly seek the truth.
Where to begin
The newcomers’ online Bible study is the easiest first step: Tuesdays at 7:00 pm and Sundays at 1:00 pm Eastern, by Zoom. If you would rather come in person, the Saturday lesson at 2:00 pm is the main weekly gathering. The Friday lesson at 7:30 pm is on YouTube only. Times at other branches vary, so contact the branch to confirm.
What happens
A lesson is taught from the Authorized King James Version of 1611. Bring a Bible if you have one. Questions are welcome; this is a teaching ministry and enquiry is the ordinary way in.
What to wear
Dress modestly and neatly. The ministry keeps a standard of dress, and a visitor is not expected to know it, only to come respectfully.
The dress guidance above needs to be set by the Council. The Bridge records that guidelines exist for dress and conduct, but publishing the internal standard may not be appropriate for a visitor page.
What is not open
The holy events — the feasts and the appointed times — are kept by baptised brethren. Lessons, Bible studies and public events are open to all. If you wish to go further, the path is set out under Becoming a Member.
