Ethanim is the seventh month. Its appointed times include the Blowing of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles. The Blowing of Trumpets opens the month.
How it is kept
The rams’ horns are sounded and a holy convocation is held. Greetings pass among Israelites everywhere on the entry into the holy seventh month.
